We ask Lesley Morris to continue to plan for this outing and to email the clerks team with details which can then be shared with meeting through notices.
14/19. Future Activities.
Sharon Watson proposed using the book ‘What do Quakers believe?’ by Geoffrey Durham as a basis for discussion in a monthly session to be held at Friends’ homes. There are 8 chapters and 2 chapters could form the basis for one session. We have 3 copies of this book within the Meeting (two in the library) for Friends to use and share.
The first discussion group will take place onFriday 5th July at 7pm at 2 Southlawn and the following sessions, dates and venues will be decided at each meeting.
In addition to this Sharon asked whether Friends would like to do a session of breath practice after Meeting possibly on a regular basis. It was decided that Sharon would begin in August.
We decided to take these proposals forward.
